I called a bunch of companies but they were the only ones who responded. I went with them and they seemed okay. I gave them a down payment but they haven’t started yet. I think they are just a busy company because I had to wait three weeks before anyone could come out.
Waterproofed, encapsulated and installed "the turtle," a means of ingress and egress to the crawl space. The project included a sump pump and dehumidifier. Small stone was applied to the ground as the first layer, then a type of foam board, finishing with a tough, white plastic. The entire perimetry was fitted with pipe leading to the sump pump which will pump water out of the crawl space to a drain which leads water away from the house. I also chose to have a dehumidifier installed so that I could use the area for storage.
The crawl space is now clean and dry. The work was completed quickly and professionally. I am happy with the job that was done. It was expensive and, of course, I wish it was a bit cheaper but I am pleased with the work Dry Guys did. Also, I had a question after installation and their customer service representative was helpful and polite.
