With leaky walls and a basement in desperate trouble, Margaret and Charles C. came to realize that they had a problem that was bigger than what any DIY repairs could fix. Desperate for answers, the couple turned to the internet to find a professional waterproofer they could trust. They came across Dry Guys Basement Systems and found positive reviews from customers who had been experiencing similar problems. The couple decided to contact them for a free estimate.
Dry Guys sent waterproofing expert Ian Gattuso to inspect the couple’s basement and recommend the products that would help permanently solve their basement troubles. Ian recommended the installation of BrightWall. BrightWall is a patented Basement Systems product that doubles as a waterproofer and a wall mat that lightens up the room! A SuperSump sump pump and WaterGuard Interior Drainage System were recommended to ensure that any possible water that gets through the wall would be removed In conjunction with the BrightWall, SuperSump, and WaterGuard, ThermalDry Basement Flooring was recommended to guarantee full protection against any future threats. Finally, a RainChute downspout extension was recommended to drain all the water into the yard and away from the foundation.
With the recommendations agreed upon, Karl Jones and his crew were called in to install the products. After a quick three day installation, the products were finally installed and ready to keep Margaret and Charles C.’s basement waterproofed for years to come!
After having a French Drain installed for a couple of years, Tim and Trudy M. noticed they still had water leaking in through their basement walls. Realizing that they needed a superior waterproofing job, they turned to Dry Guys.
Dan Gattuso, Waterproofing Specialist, determined that they needed to install a sump pump system to keep water out. Tim and Trudy decided to go with the SuperSump and an UltraSump battery backup for their basement.
Tim and Trudy had a bad experience in the past with a faulty French Drain, but thanks to the experts at Dry Guys, their problems are a thing of the past.
Dry Guys isn't just known for their responsible foundation repair, innovative waterproofing solutions, professionalism, and practical approaches to the basement and crawl space issues. They're also a family, and they genuinely care about the people whose homes they visit. Carol J. witnessed this first hand when she realized there was mold in her crawl space, which often flooded. She was referred to Dry Guys by a friend.
System Designer John Mealey recommended the only patented solution, CleanSpace, to keep moisture out. Our own SaniDry crawl space air system was also recommended to dry the air and make the space uninhabitable for mold. The TripleSafe sump station replaced her original one which had done absolutely nothing to remove the standing water. Additionally, a SuperSump was installed on the other side of the crawl space to ensure everything was dry all the time! Aside from the fact that Dry Guys improved her quality of life (Carol had been suffering from a cough and shortness of breath, which she later learned was from the mold), they went above and beyond the call of duty while they were working in her home. Foreman Jason Bowe noticed the smell of gas in Carol's crawl space and immediately notified her instead of simply ignoring it. Not only did he help her get in contact with the gas company, but stayed with her while everything was investigated to make sure the 76-year-old homeowner was in good hands. It turns out the gas leak was actually very dangerous, and according to the gas company the house could have exploded at any time. Carol was so grateful to Jason and his crew for saving her life! Jason also asked for a remote reader so Carol would not have to crawl in the tight area to read her meter ever again.
Dry Guys is redefining the stereotype of the typical contractor. We refuse to accept the idea of cold, callous workers that do their jobs half-halfheartedly, have poor communication skills, and worse attitudes! Unlike others that are impossible to get in touch with after the job is done, we actually do care about the well being of homeowners like Carol. Thanks to Dry Guys, she enjoys her dry, mold-free crawl space, better health, and the security of knowing she made the right choice to trust us.
Dolores and William H. had a sump pump in their crawl space, which is why they couldn't figure out why they still had standing water issues during every storm. Their crawl space looked no better than before- muddy, flooded, and full of debris. They knew they needed a real solution, and that's why they called Dry Guys for help.
System Designer Troy Kenuk helped them understand that their current sump pump was inefficient. The couple decided to remove the old pump and replace it with the more powerful TripleSafe Sump Pump System. They lined their crawl space with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to keep moisture out and added a SaniDry Dehumidifier to purify the air once they learned that it has a huge effect on the air they breathe inside the house. Vent covers were also installed to insulate the crawl space, keep critters from entering, and to help the SaniDry function at maximum capacity. They were so excited about their new, clean-looking crawl space that they even decided to top it off with a Turtl Crawl Space Entryway for easy access! Lastly, Dolores and William discovered that their sagging floors were also a product of crawl space issues, and had SmartJacks installed to straighten out their floor joists to avoid serious and potentially dangerous foundation issues.
A simple sump pump, especially one like this couple's original pump, is not enough to keep a crawl space – and by extension your home- healthy. Thanks to the Dry Guys Team and their patented systems, Dolores and William have one less thing to worry about- and a new, dry storage space to top it off!

After a free estimate, Dry Guys decided it was best to install some cement work, as well as installing our popular "Waterguard" drainage system. This system operates similarly to a French Drain, but Waterguard is easily accessible and is able to be upkept if clogged. We would first install the drain trench, next the drain pipes, then the DryTrack, and finally re-concrete the floor. This would successfully keep the water out, and the basement dry.
