Our Special Bracket
The top of each brace is attached to a floor joist at the top of the wall. This specially designed bracket is bolted to the floor joist and contains a large-diameter bolt for adjusting and tightening after installation. This is unique to our PowerBrace system, and prevents the braces from popping off the walls- a common problem seen with steel i-beams.
PowerBraces
The PowerBrace works best when each I-beam is perfectly plumb or vertical. Our team uses a level to fine-tune the position of each beam in preparation for the next step.
Making it Pretty
If we have to jackhammer your floor, we will apply fresh concrete to the area to make it look nice once the project is done.
6 New PowerBraces
Here is a view of the 6 new PowerBraces. We carefully calculate where each one has to go when determining how far apart to space them so that your wall can comfortably bear the load of your house- like it's supposed to!
Perfect for Bowing Walls
A row of PowerBraces, support what used to be a bowing wall. The wall won't move anymore thanks to our patented system with its special brackets ( a key feature that makes it superior to steel i-beams).
Preventing Future Damage
The cracks in the walls are clearly visible in this photo. Our PowerBrace system stops the wall from moving further, holding it in place. Over time, it can even be possible to push the wall back into its original position.
