When upgrading the home's HVAC system, this Rio Grande homeowner noticed dampness in the crawl space. To protect and seal the space, our team encapsulated the crawl space with our Clean Space vapor barriers. Before, the insulation was wet, ripped, and falling from the ceiling. This insulation was removed, and our crew laid both Rim Joist insulation as well as our SilverGlo insulation along the walls. A Smart Drain was also installed, which functions like a sump pump, but is especially made for crawl spaces. This system drains any moisture or seepage to keep the crawl space dry.
