Crawl Space Waterproofing in Somers Point, New Jersey

Challenge

When our System Designer arrived at this property in Somers Point, NJ, he was greeted with major flooding and mold growing throughout the homeowner’s crawl space. The home’s sump pump had failed and was completely submerged underwater. The mold and humidity had made the wooden floor joists weak and radiated a musty odor in the home. Leaving these issues uncorrected can lead to more structural problems and possible health problems if the mold gets any worse.

Solution

This homeowner called Dry Guys after discovering the numerous patented products we offer to get the job done right. Our certified mold remediation specialists were able to remove the mold and create an environment where it wouldn’t be able to grow again. This was achieved with the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, SilverGlo Wall Insulation, and the SaniDry Dehumidifier and Air Purifier. Our SaniDry works better in larger areas than most dehumidifiers while using significantly less energy than the regular store-bought dehumidifier. Our Clean Space and SilverGlo products stop humidity from entering the crawl space while providing a clean and neat look! To combat the flooding issue, the SmartSump Sump Pump was installed. This pump has been tested and used nationwide for years by Basement Systems dealers.
