Bowing and Cracking Wall
Expansions of the soil outside of the basement walls create pressure which will cause bowing and cracking. This can hinder the usability of your basement, safety, and value of your home.
The Installation of the TripleSafe Sump Pump System
Our most reliable sump pump system, the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, provides three levels of protection for your basement and your peace of mind. For normal functioning, the TripleSafe has a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller ⅓ horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level. For heavy volumes of water or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller ½ hp pump set a bit higher in the liner, will take over. In case of a power outage, our UltraSump battery backup sump pump, set at the highest level, will pump 11,500 gallons or more on a fully charged battery!
CarbonArmor vs Fortess Sablization Systems
Not all carbon fiber stabilization systems are the same. Other competitors will try to sell you systems at a fraction of the cost of our cost, and this is the reason why. CarbonArmor is far more superior in quality and performance compared our competitor's products and the difference can clearly be seen. The CarbonArmor™ Wall Reinforcing System, available from Foundation Supportworks, utilizes the same technology used to support bridges, skyscrapers and bomb shelters to stabilize building foundations that have sustained damage such as cracks and bowing.
Mold Growing from Leaking Walls
Cracks in your basement walls also allow water to seep through. As seen here, the leaking basement has caused mold to grow. This will not only damage the air quality of your basement but the air quality of your entire home. When hot air leaves the home through your attic and upper levels, a vacuum is created below. New air is pulled upwards through the basement, crawl space, and lower levels creating what we call, the "stack effect". So, if there is mold in your basement, there is mold in your attic and EVERYWHERE in between.
The Installation of CarbonAmour
To stabilize and secure the foundation walls, CarbonArmor was installed. After preparing the interior of the foundation wall where the straps will be installed, the contractor will cut the straps to a length that matches the full height of the wall and saturates both the strap and the repair area with high-strength epoxy resin. The resulting repair contours tightly to the wall, making it very unobtrusive compared to other repair techniques such as installing steel I-beams. Once the repair is complete, it can be concealed by paint or drywall.
The Installation of the WaterGuard
Our most popular drainage system, WaterGuard is the ideal solution for most basement waterproofing applications. Unlike old-fashioned drain tile systems installed on the outside of the home, WaterGuard is installed just underneath the perimeter edge of the basement floor.
