Wet Crawl Space
If this wet, flooded crawl space is a familiar sight, consider installing a reliable waterproofing system. If you let your crawl space stay wet, you risk mold growth, and your floor joists will rot away over time. This will compromise the structural integrity of your home and cause buckling floors, stuck doors and windows, and a foul odor.
Open Crawl Space Vent
This vent is standard in crawl spaces, but it's not very good because small creatures can enter the crawl space through the openings. If you want energy efficiency and a warm house, this vent will allow any heat in your house to escape, raising your electric bill. We install SmartVents. They only open when they're under water pressure and don't allow your heat to escape or critters to enter.
Hanging Insulation
Fiberglass insulation isn't practical for crawl spaces because it will start to sag and pretty much become useless in stopping heat from escaping your home. They also tend to grow mold in a moist crawl space. We have innovative insulation packages that eliminate the need for you to rely on fiberglass for a more energy efficient and warm house.
