Waterproofing a Wet Basement in Blackwood, NJ

Challenge

This Blackwood basement would have water come in during and after rain. The water would seep through where the floor and walls meet, and would often form puddles. This basement is often used for both storage and recreation, so having water issues not only increases the basement's humidity levels, but also brings a huge risk for mold.

Solution

Our team fully waterproofed the entirely of this basement. Our crew installed a full-perimeter of our WaterGuard drainage system, and lined the walls with our CleanSpace vapor barriers. Our WaterGuard drainage system is designed to capture and drain any water leaking from the walls and along the wall/floor joints. The CleanSpace makes sure the basement itself is dry, and any water leaking from the walls will be caught on the back of the barrier, and will drip downward into the WaterGuard.

Additionally, our team installed a TripleSafe sump pump System, which is attached to the WaterGuard. This system will pump out any water that the WaterGuard has caught, and can pump up to 6,200 gallons per hour! This basement is now bone-dry, and the homeowners can have some peace of mind when it comes to their basement!
