CleanSpace and SaniDry Installation in Brigantine, New Jersey

Challenge

Later that same year, the homeowner called the our team back to address the humidity problem that was still present. The high humidity caused the wood to swell and sag but was corrected by the installation of SmartJacks. It had also caused mold to grow within the pillars, making this an extreme health issue as well.

Solution

A CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation liner was installed along with our SaniDry CX dehumidifier and five Smart Vents. The CleanSpace now prevents water vapor and humidity from passing through the floor and block walls to the rest of the home. (Pictured) By keeping the crawl space dry, the home is protected from mold, rot and is safe for storage. The SaniDry CX dehumidifier will control the humidity level and is specifically designed for the unique environment provided by a crawl space. (Pictured) Four of the SmartVents were installed into the foundation walls and one vent was installed in the Everlast Crawlspace Door. Smart Vents open automatically during a flood, equalizing water pressure to avoid severe foundation damage. These combined efforts of the products installed will keep the structure of home stable and the humidity under control to prevent mold regrowth and rotting.
